Trend Continuation Patterns

The trend continuation pattern is the price model indicating the tendency will continue after the current situation. While the model forming the price moves in a narrow range. There are some trend continuation patterns. We will discuss them and their signals.

The flag formation is a rectangle sloping downward or upward and having a long pole. It is forming during a pause after a strong movement.

The flag consists of its body and pole. The pole height indicates a target price after the end of the price formation. Usually the flag body includes 5 waves and price breaks out of the flag formation on the fifth wave.

A symmetrical triangle at any moment of trend is always the strong continuation formation. But if an ascending triangle appears on the bearish trend and a descending triangle appears on the bullish trend they will be weak continuation signals that need the confirmation. And the ascending triangle on the bullish trend or the descending triangle on the bearish trend will be the strong continuation signals. The triangle is formed on the same principles as the mentioned formations and gives the same results:

• A classic triangle has 5 waves, but if it has more waves the movement can be stronger after the breakout of the triangle formation;

• The price breaks out of formation at first half or three quarters of the triangle, but if it breaks out at its last quarter the price movement will be short and weak;

• After the formation breakout the price will cover the distance equal to the widest part of the triangle formation.

When the triangle formation appears on the chart it is a good opportunity to trade online after the breakout of this price model.

The tendency continuation patterns are not only good trading signals but help to forecast a target price. If you know the possible distance of the price movement you can surely trade during its period. We would also like to highlight that the formation searching is not a science. The trader should decide if he sees the formation or something like that. The more you work with the technical analysis patterns the easier you find them and trade successfully. But while you have no experience you should remember the rule: if you see and understand the price chart formation clearly it will surely work.

Rakesh Jhunjhunwala portfolio: शेयर बाजार में कंपनियों ने अपने रिजल्ट दिखाने शुरू हो गए हैं. रिजल्ट देखकर कई लोग निवेश करने के बारे में सोचते रहते हैं. क्योंकि कंपनी के रिजल्ट ही यह तय करते हैं कि कंपनी भविष्य में कैसा परफॉर्म करने वाली है.जो लोग शेयर बाजार में अच्छे शेयर्स की तलाश कर रहे हैं उन्हें राकेश झुनझुनवाला के पोर्टफोलियो पर भी नजर डाल लेनी चाहिए. एक्सपोर्ट की नजर में राकेश झुनझुनवाला के पोर्टफोलियो का एक शेयर ऐसा है जो कुछ ही दिनों में 40% तक का रिटर्न दे सकता है.

यही नहीं, यह स्टॉप 50 हफ्तों की सिंपल मूविंग एवरेज और इचिमोकू क्लाउड के ऊपर ट्रेड कर रहा है. यह सभी सिग्नल शेयर की स्ट्रेंथ को दर्शाते हैं. यदि डेली चार्ट (Daily Chart) की बात करें तो यह स्टॉक एक चैनल में ट्रेड कर रहा है और मिडिल बोलिंजर बैंड की सपोर्ट ले रहा है. इसका मतलब भी यही है कि आने वाले कुछ दिनों में यह शेयर यहां से ऊपर जा सकता है.चॉइस ब्रोकिंग एक्सपर्ट ने आगे बताया कि SAIL को शॉर्ट टर्म और लॉन्ग टर्म दोनों तरह के निवेशक अपने पोर्टफोलियो में रख सकते हैं.

जीसीएल सिक्योरिटीज के वाइस चेयरमैन रवि सिंघल ने कहा, “निफ्टी मेटल इंडेक्स ने हाल ही में एक बुलिश कंटिन्यूएशन पैटर्न क्या है? ब्रेकआउट दिया है और इससे निकट भविष्य में SAIL के शेयर की कीमतों में तेजी आने की उम्मीद है. खुदरा निवेशकों को मेरा सुझाव है कि SAIL के शेयरों को मौजूदा बाजार मूल्य पर निकट अवधि के लिए खरीदें. ₹130 और ₹144 का लक्ष्य रखें और 97 रुपये पर इसका स्टॉपलॉस रखें.” जीसीएल सिक्योरिटीज के रवि सिंघल ने कहा कि पीएसयू मेटल स्टॉक में बुलिश कंटिन्यूएशन पैटर्न क्या है? मौजूदा स्तर से किसी भी गिरावट को खरीदारी के अवसर के रूप में देखा जाना चाहिए और जब तक यह 102 रुपये प्रति शेयर के स्तर से ऊपर न हो जाए, तब तक स्टॉक को खरीदते रहना चाहिए.
